Following the events in Brussels and Munich in 2013 and 2014 respectively, the third edition of the Wine Business Innovation Summit is slatted for January 2017 in the city it was first created, Brussels.
After a two-year break, the time has come to launch a new edition of WBIS. The break has given the organisers, (Faye Cardwell & Marc Roisin), the chance to focus on the role of WBIS in the wine industry to ensure the forthcoming event will be the best edition yet.
The central theme of this event will be “how can the wine industry sell more wine?”. To do this we’ll be looking at successful business cases and strategies, as well as taking examples from other industries that could be applied to the wine sector.
Space will also be given to the projects that pitched during the two editions of the Wine Business Innovation Summit. We’ll be finding out if they succeeded in their initial venture, how their businesses changed as the project progressed and whether WBIS was part of that transformation. These are interesting questions which help budding entrepreneurs reflect and give input to their business ideas. We’ll also have networking moments to help start-ups, freelancers, investors and media to make contacts that will matter to their projects.
Places for WBIS 2017 will be limited and tickets will go on sale in summer.
To share your ideas on WBIS and the programme, look out for the survey to be launched in the coming months.
